Joe Case

Joe started in radio (WJAK, Jackson, TN) at the ripe old age of 15 (1971). During his 11 years there, he moved from weekend DJ to weekday afternoon host, Music Director and eventually Program/News Director and morning drive host.

In 1979, Joe accepted a position as 6 & 10pm weather anchor for WBBJ-TV, Jackson, TN, while maintaining his duties at WJAK.
Joe moved to Nashville in 1985 as morning weather anchor and co-host of the live weekday magazine show, ‘Talk of the Town”…which was listed as one of the highest rated local shows of its type in the country. As a matter of fact, all shows he was a part of (Morning News, Midday News and Talk of the Town) were constantly #1 in the Nashville market.

While at NewsChannel5, Joe won an EMMY award for hosting/producing a feature segment on Talk of the Town called, “Grand Ole Golf”.
Joe left NewsChannel 5 after 15 wonderful years and moved on to be weeknight Weather Anchor/Chief Forecaster at WZTV FOX17, Nashville. Here he was a part of a growing primetime newscast for over six years.
At FOX17, he also did feature reporting including, “One Tank Trips”…spotlighting places you could go for a weekend trip from Nashville on a tank of gas. Joe also was the feature reporter for the stations “Top Teacher” segment, and holiday segments called “FOX Friday Lights”.
Joe left full time employment at FOX17 to spend time in ministry work in the Nashville area.
Throughout his career Joe has also worked as a free lance commercial/industrial voiceover artist, for which he has won two prestigious ADDY awards.
He has hosted numerous telethons, including the West TN Cerebral Palsy Telethon, MDA Telethon and the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Telethon.
Joe is currently working as an air personality/weather specialist at Hippie Radio 94.5 in Nashville.

Joe is also married to Pam Case, and has three children and one grandson!
